It's that time of the year! One of the most joyful, if you ask me. Ramadhan Mubarak to all my Muslim and non-Muslim friends all over ( you know, since I'm assuming we're all friends even if it isn't facebook official). Before I continue, for those that aren't familiar with what Ramadhan is, it is the time of year that Muslims fast (don't eat or drink from dawn to dusk) for 30 days and invest more time in ourselves (spirituality wise) by reading Qur'an, going to mosque, and praying more often. I look at it as a spiritual cleansing that you get to do with your family and friends and I absolutely love it. So for the following weeks, my outfits will be based on what you could wear to mosque and in return I hope to see what you guys are wearing to mosque too! So whenever you find yourself wearing a cute outfit to mosque, facebook/instagram/twitter it with the hashtag #myramadhanootn :)
So this outfit, oh this outfit. I first saw this dress and like the last item I blogged, didn't know if i could work it, but I fell in love with the floral

print and how elegant it was so of course I bought it :D The dress gives a good amount of colors to work with from pink, coral, beige, cream, to even mocha. Of course for jewelry and accessories, I just jazzed it up with my watch, pearl rings, and my studded nude pink bag, because who doesn't love a little studness (probably not a real word) here and there! And as for foot wear, I of course put on my new favorite pair of gladiators (that you know actually make me feel like a gladiator, not going to lie). Well this is the first of Ramadhan OOTNs and I hope you're looking forward to more and I can't wait to see yours! :)

A friend and I were told to host an event for the club that we are part of (Ahlul-Bayt Society) and it was supposed to be about hijab. I was thrilled because it was basically our chance to show our ideas and lead a small event. We put our heads together and came up with giving non-Muslims the chance to experience what it is like to be a hijabi (girl that wears hijab), and I think that as much of a different experience it was for those who tried it on, it was also a different experience for us! I absolutely enjoyed this and I know this won't be last time they'll be something like this. Hello my fashion lovers! Hope you guys are starting to soak up the fall weather (even though it's still 90 degrees in Florida), because I know I am. This outfit I think is a perfect way to get ready for the fall, because it has a few great combinations! To start off, the color of the dress! I just love it! It's a deep, but not dark purple because it's still a vibrant touch to it, that blends so well with the camel tan color of the combat boots. I honestly didn't like this dress at all, because I thought it was really boring, but when I matched a few things with it, I loved it! It has a flow to it, but not as much as high-low, giving it a "sweet&simple" tone to the outfit, and it's so much fun to spin in!
The scarf. Yes, it is the scarf, my favorite scarf. And I think we all can understand why at this point; it has so many great colors in it that's so flexible to match with a lot of outfits, and with this one, the purple and pink of the scarf really pop out. I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm almost always wearing something on top of a top, and this cardigan will probably be the least I will ever wear. I love it because of the cream-white color correlating with the cream-white of the scarf and lace pattern at the border and at the top, which just adds more to the "sweet" look As for my accessories, I added a gold-knotted head band, two pearl rings, and the nude studded bag (which again has gold in it). All three of these have the same tone and color of gold, making them work well together since they all give it that vintage but classy look.

Well I hope you all of you liked this week's outfit! I honestly think I liked it because of how much fun I had spinning in it :D

Hello Fashion Lovers! Today is an exciting day for me, because though I should've had this earlier, today's my first interview!  That's why today's outfit is compiled of a few of my favorite things from my closet and will also show another essential I feel everyone should have in their closet.  Guys aren't the only ones that can rock blazers (well unless you're Harvey Specter, then he rocks it the most), but a blazer is something I feel you need to have in a closet. It makes an outfit go from ordinary, to polished and just really stylish and cute, by just pulling it over a plain striped dress such as this one. This isn't my first blazer, but I do suggest that if you do want to buy a blazer, start off with a basic blue or black, just because it's easy to match with. I've always wanted a red/maroon blazer so when I saw this one, I had to get it (especially after only being $10). The cut of this blazer is different because it does not have the two stitched lines in the back, making it fit your back, but it's not so bad where it throws off the

whole outfit to not working. I also like it because one, of the two pockets (very convenient and adds more to it), and two because it's pretty light and bearable to wear this time of the year (especially in Florida). I wonder if you guys will get tired of seeing my pattern blocking...but I couldn't help myself and had to wear this scarf with this striped dress! The off-white/cream color blends well with the mesh of beige, different tones of green, mustard yellow and purple. And I understand there isn't an exact maroon color in the scarf to match the blazer, but I felt the colors were close enough to work well together.
I know, the summer is just ending and I'm already starting to bring about my boots, and I know this outfit would've looked cute with my flats, but I just didn't feel right wearing this outfit without the boots. I wasn't kidding when I said "get used to them," because with the next few months coming up, you'll be seeing them a lot more often :D But anyway, I honestly feel these boots are perfect for anything, and especially this outfit due to its camel tan color, working with the mix of colors in the outfit and especially the maroon blazer. They change the attitude of the outfit by giving it an edge, but still having a polished look with the blazer. And of course, the two pearl rings and purse just wraps up the outfit by giving a classy touch to it.
