.

You know why I bought these? One, because they were on sale (of course) and two, because look at this print! How could you not buy something with this kind of floral print!? Well anyway, everyone needs something like this in their closet, because when they're feeling lazy, they can just put a plain top on and still have it dressed up! But of course, when buying them, think about your closet! Think about what tops you can work with and what you can pattern block with it and they'll make it so worth your buy. Well this weeks was sweet, simple, but of course stylish;) Have a good rest of the week and don't forget to dress it up because life's too short not to!

You guys...there's a week of Ramadhan left. Am I the only one that is processing that Ramadhan like..JUST started? *sigh* I hate when it flies by so fast. But, moving on, today's outfit is quite pink! And I honestly never thought I'd see myself in something so "girly" as I first thought it was, but this is one of my favorite maxis because it's ombre! And of course, I scarf searched and was looking for a scarf to match and at the time of putting this outfit together, this floral scarf was my favorite and just happened to match with everything, including this! So I worked with the colors and put a good length gray cardigan on top. As for accessories, the nude bag with studs was the perfect match (and you know how I love my studs to add some edge), a few pearl rings and a cute bracelet that yes has a butterfly on it (I surprisingly did not choose this bracelet....my brother did).

I feel like Uncle Sam...but hey it's your turn!

So you guys have seen my Ramadhan style and I've seen a few yours through your #myramadhanootn posts, which I've loved but it's towards the end of Ramadhan, and that can only mean one thing...eid outfits! I can't wait to show you guys what I'm wearing (yes, I've already thought about it), but more than anything I want to see what you guys are wearing! And since I figured I'd love it so much, I would want to blog about it! So give me a chance to feature my last Ramadhan Eid post on your outfits and send me your pictures by e-mailing me at fjaffer10@gmail.com. I'm so excited to see what you guys have in mind!

Um....yeah. #lolz

It's that time of the year! One of the most joyful, if you ask me. Ramadhan Mubarak to all my Muslim and non-Muslim friends all over ( you know, since I'm assuming we're all friends even if it isn't facebook official). Before I continue, for those that aren't familiar with what Ramadhan is, it is the time of year that Muslims fast (don't eat or drink from dawn to dusk) for 30 days and invest more time in ourselves (spirituality wise) by reading Qur'an, going to mosque, and praying more often. I look at it as a spiritual cleansing that you get to do with your family and friends and I absolutely love it. So for the following weeks, my outfits will be based on what you could wear to mosque and in return I hope to see what you guys are wearing to mosque too! So whenever you find yourself wearing a cute outfit to mosque, facebook/instagram/twitter it with the hashtag #myramadhanootn :)
So this outfit, oh this outfit. I first saw this dress and like the last item I blogged, didn't know if i could work it, but I fell in love with the floral

print and how elegant it was so of course I bought it :D The dress gives a good amount of colors to work with from pink, coral, beige, cream, to even mocha. Of course for jewelry and accessories, I just jazzed it up with my watch, pearl rings, and my studded nude pink bag, because who doesn't love a little studness (probably not a real word) here and there! And as for foot wear, I of course put on my new favorite pair of gladiators (that you know actually make me feel like a gladiator, not going to lie). Well this is the first of Ramadhan OOTNs and I hope you're looking forward to more and I can't wait to see yours! :)

This outfit is a classic mix for fall with a forest green cardigan on top of the salmon nude high-low skirt. Yup, that's a skirt, which it makes it all the more better to have in your closet because you can work it with other outfits! Not only are the colors mixing well, but the Aztec scarf (which of course bring all the colors together) along with the studded purse and combats boots add edge yet still has elegance with the cream-white lace shirt under the skirt, and of course the skirt itself! Hope you guys liked this week's outfit! :)

Hello fashion lovers! Today's outfit is a very special one. Not only because it contains my favorite pair of shoes, but because I decided to YOLO and enter into a H&M competition across the nation! But we'll talk about that later. Yes, I know what you're thinking, "is she wearing a leather jacket and combat boots in the summer?" And the answer is yes, why yes I am! You can never get ready for fall too early:)

I know I'm repeating my green skinny jeans again, but let's just say this outfit wouldn't be what it is without them. Let's start with the dress; it's a mint high-low that is made of a slightly sheer but soft linen material giving it the right the "flowiness" especially being cinched at the waist-line giving it loose pleats throughout the dress. It gives the outfit a sweet, chique look, but by adding the leather jacket and combat boots give it just the right amount of edge. What I like most about the leather jacket (which is also another necessary essential in your closet) is that it's not one of those biker/ punk leather jackets, but still gives you a 'bad' look, which is of course topped off with the aviators and boots. The scarf has the appropriate shade of green leaves and collage of light pink, yellow, and purple flowers, blending well with both the green skinny jeans and mint dress. This scarf does not clash but correlates with the braided belt (turned into a head band) giving a whole Grecian ("Greek") look to this scarf style. Not only that, but the light shades help match the nude pink color of the bag, which if you ask me, nude pink (with rose gold) and mint is great pastel combination. I know I said that this outfit would be incomplete without the green skinny jeans, and well that's not a lie, but what truly wraps up this outfit and just makes me love it so much are my boots. When I saw these combat boots on overstock.com, it was like love at first click; that's when I knew, they were the one for me. They make any outfit from plain, to giving an edgy-vintage look, and I absolutely love that. Do get used to these boots because they will reappear very often as the fall/winter season come in. I just hope you love them as much as I do:)

My favorite boots

As I had mentioned earlier, this outfit was a special one because I also submitted this outfit for the H&M fan fashion competition across the nation and the picture with the most votes gets a reward that any H&M lover (like myself) would greatly appreciate! So please go to 50statesoffashion.com go under "sort by states" and click on Florida and click my picture! It would be greatly appreciated and let's just say I'm representing all us hijabis and showing them we got style;)

Hope you enjoyed today's (rather long if you ask me) post and don't forget to dress it with style, because life's too short to not to!
