I didn't realize how such a simple outfit can balance out so well and look so good. First off, can we just admire the blazer. Is it an ordinary black blazer? No, no it is not. And why? Because it is actually of hijab appropriate length! Can I have a hallelujah! I was debatable about buying it seeing as it wasn't what I was looking for, but then I realized I would be doing something disappointing to all hijabis if I didn't buy it so technically I did it for all of us out there:D
But as you can see, the outfit is simple! Just added a little "flavor," I guess you could call it with the cheetah scarf and gold-chain tooth necklace (no that's not a real tooth guys).

Oh and yes of course, good luck to everyone taking their finals this week or next week or even after! We're almost done guys and then break!...well for a short time and then back to school *sigh* it never ends. Hope you guys loved the outfit and don't forget to look cute for exams!

Honestly, I owe this outfit to my mom, she made me improvise. So we went shopping because she's leaving on a trip soon to visit her family in Africa and I saw these Aztec printed  loose pants, kind of like jasmine pants but a little more straight. Loved them, asked for them, didn't get them. Reason being - "you already have pants just like that." And she was referring to these very much African style pants that I honestly bought because I was being a foreigner and thought they were cute but never really thought I would actually wear them because they were just "too African"...though, my mom begged to differ. She said I don't wear these pants, but now I don't know how right she is about that. I had an outfit set in mind when I saw the Aztec pants, but since I couldn't get them, I decided why not make an outfit with these, and to be honest, I think it's one of my favorites so far because of how well themed it is yet chic at the same time! Now I think I would actually wear this out because the blazer gives it a modern (or classy) spin that makes it appealing to yours and other people's eyes. Well I hope you guys like this outfit as much as I did! Remember, life's too short to dress boring, so dress it up! :)

Love her outfit!

This week's post was special because it was collaboration with this other amazing hijabi blogger and also a good friend of mine, Malikah! We became friends when I met her at camp from first moving to Florida, but a few years ago she moved back to Canada and left me:( But, she came back just to see me!..no, just kidding, she came back for a wedding, and while she was here we had our blogger talks and then thought, "hey why don't we post one together!" And so that's exactly what we did, and I know a day late again, but I told you it would be worth the wait! You will definitely want to check out her fashion blog that she works on with her Zainab Chopra to get cute outfit ideas like this one and plenty more! So check out these hijabi heroes at http://hijabiheroes.wordpress.com/

We're just so cute

As for this week's outfit, I'm sure the dress looks familiar, and instead of color clashing, I color...coordinated! It's rather simple, and I used my dress to tie everything together. Of course, the rose gold watch was the perfect accessory for the event to keep the outfit fashionable yet classy. And you know how I love putting my belt in my scarf, so I thought hey why not! Well I hope you guys enjoyed the surprise this week, and don't forget to check out her blog!

Yes, another year has gone by and man has it been one year (literally)! I really could go on about it but I'll save you guys from reading much today (besides I'll be posting later again this week so I'll catch you up then :P ).

yolo last selfie of 2013!

It really has been a good year though, and I'm excited to see what the new year is to bring, especially when it comes to this! I started the blog this year and I've been blessed with great friends and family who have helped either when it comes to taking pictures or helping my spread my name, or even just giving my picture a "like" or a "double tap". Thank you guys for all of it!

I thought to end off this year, I'd keep it classy and dressy seeing as this is probably how would I attend a new years party maybe. I think what I love about this outfit, is that there is a zipper right down the middle of the dress giving it a little edge (and you know how I love my edge to an outfit)! Well, whatever you guys are doing for new years, I hope it's great! And don't forget, life's too short to dress boring..so dress it up! Happy New Years guys!:)

Hello my fashion lovers! Hope you guys are starting to soak up the fall weather (even though it's still 90 degrees in Florida), because I know I am. This outfit I think is a perfect way to get ready for the fall, because it has a few great combinations! To start off, the color of the dress! I just love it! It's a deep, but not dark purple because it's still a vibrant touch to it, that blends so well with the camel tan color of the combat boots. I honestly didn't like this dress at all, because I thought it was really boring, but when I matched a few things with it, I loved it! It has a flow to it, but not as much as high-low, giving it a "sweet&simple" tone to the outfit, and it's so much fun to spin in!
The scarf. Yes, it is the scarf, my favorite scarf. And I think we all can understand why at this point; it has so many great colors in it that's so flexible to match with a lot of outfits, and with this one, the purple and pink of the scarf really pop out. I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm almost always wearing something on top of a top, and this cardigan will probably be the least I will ever wear. I love it because of the cream-white color correlating with the cream-white of the scarf and lace pattern at the border and at the top, which just adds more to the "sweet" look As for my accessories, I added a gold-knotted head band, two pearl rings, and the nude studded bag (which again has gold in it). All three of these have the same tone and color of gold, making them work well together since they all give it that vintage but classy look.

Well I hope you all of you liked this week's outfit! I honestly think I liked it because of how much fun I had spinning in it :D
Don't forget, sharing is caring! Have a great week and dress well because life's too short to dress boring! :)
