Hey, we are staying appropirate here okay. But that Florida sun isn't being shy and is coming out strong and as a hijabi you need to figure out some way to work with it. Usually when it gets hot, people prefer taking their clothes off...well you shouldn't. Instead do what we do and wear something flowy and breezy, because when it's fitting it gives you no air circulation, that's when you really feel hot! This is one of my all time favorite tops because first off it's long sleeves so nothing to worry about there; but the material is a light jersey type that allows for some type of structure to it but is very comfortable and "breathable" as some people say. The cardigan, well it's extremely light and more so just adds more to the outfit. Sometimes I forget I'm wearing it because of how light it is. Jeans...I can't or well I can but really prefer not to wear jeans in this type of weather (so stay tuned for some other pantaloon ideas you can wear when it's blazing hot), so I grabbed my leggings. Once again, they have the "breathable" effect and are just lighter to wear compared to jeans. And yes you guys will be seeing these gladiators a lot this summer but you know I had to wear them. You can throw on any scarf that matches for this outfit, but the cheetah print with the maroon was just what I was feeling today you know what I'm saying. Well, whatever it is you're doing this summer, I hope you're enjoying it (even if it's taking summer classes)! I know I know...it's Tuesday and I'm late again, but I really do have a valid reason! I've had some things going on with family for the past few days, but you'll be happy to hear things are getting better. So when I was trying to decide what to blog for this week, I was honestly stuck. What was happening was kind of putting me down and made me go blank. But then I thought about this one! I've actually had this outfit in mind for quite some time, and this seemed like the perfect time to show it because it's a fun, cheerful, " in a happy mood" outfit, and just what I needed to dress myself in. I love first the coral color because it's not too strong (too bright for me then), but still bright enough and the chiffon material of the dress just adds a nice touch of elegance to it. And the scarf and the dress were honestly meant to be like PB&J because they match so perfectly! And how can I not pattern block ;D The cheetah is the "fun" part of the outfit, or so I'd like to call it that. Any who, I hope you liked the outfit as much as I did and just know that when you're feeling kind of out of it, don't wear jeans and cardigan because it fits the mood, but put something cheerful on because it fits what you want to feel! :) Hope you guys have a good rest of the week!

Since it's almost November and I can still drink a slurpee from 7-11, why not just put a leather jacket on a maxi...YOLO.
This is my kind of edgy outfit that still maintains "girly" status with pattern-block of cheetah and floral. I could've made this outfit really bold and pop, but I'm saving that combination for later (in the mean time enjoy the suspense). The maxi is the soft cotton material that has just the right flowiness, that makes you ready for the beach (without the jacket of course). The scarf is essential (not only because I need to wear one), because it adds the color to the outfit with splashes of red and blue flowers, and of course the patterns correlate in their style, mixing well together. And to top it, the purse just gives the outfit the touch of a "classy" look to it.

I wish Florida had a thermostat, and I could just dial it down oh, I don't know maybe 20 degrees or so. I'm ready fall, but I need this state to catch up!
Anyway my fashion lovers, this outfit consists of a classic pattern-block of cheetah and floral! And I think it's easier to see how the combo of denim, forest green, and cheetah work together because I posted one like it a few weeks ago. Love the outfit because the dress has floral print all over making the patterns "block" more I suppose you could say. And of course, the boots. Yes I know, I know. You see them too often, but I mean how else could you picture this outfit! The boots give just the perfect edge and bring all the colors together. Hope you look forward to more outfits with them, because I'm just getting started! :D

  Hello my fashion lovers!

Brought the cheetah scarf back! Because who doesn't love being "cheetahlicious". I really like this outfit because it's a perfect mix for the start of fall. Didn't think these colors would mix right, especially putting a dark brown with a light denim top together, but they just work so well! It's probably the green skinny jeans that brings them together, because they're just so amazing like that (and thus being essential to every girl's closet). Honestly though my favorite part of this ring, and I don't know how to explain why I thought it would work, is the ring. I saw the ring at H&M (because I just really don't shop anywhere else), and I loved it! It's just so neat, and has that edgy touch to it and the gold tone of it worked well with my skin tone, making me like it even more. I know my other purse, that's double sided with two colors probably could've worked with this outfit, but I felt the black one was more appropriate because it balanced with the black spots of the scarf and just adds a classy touch. And well, at this point I don't know how to explain the boots, but the outfit was just screaming for it. It balances out the looseness of the shirt, where as wearing flats probably would've made the shirt and me look bigger. Well, hope you guys liked this week's outfit as much as I did!
