I've got my eyes on you
9:30 AM*scrolling through instagram feed mindlessly* *suddenly stops* And that was it...that was when I knew I needed you with me; I knew I would do whatever I could to get us to be together, because I've got my eyes on you. That's what it felt like when I saw this black maxi cardigan (with pockets might I add) only to realize it was sold in the UK. But, when it's love like this, distance doesn't matter. I was extremely determined to get this cardigan and particularly for this outfit. So you can imagine how much I've been waiting to blog this outfit...yeah for quite a while. I remember one of my very first posts I talked about how ESSENTIAL it is for any hijabi to have black maxi in their closet since there's SO much you can do with it. Well girls, this is another one of those essential moments, and you need to figure out a way to get this in your closet. And if you have something similar to it, then I'm sure you can agree that it can be seen as one of the best purchases you've ever made *insert thumbs up emoji sign*.
The outfit is simple and anyone with a little edge or likes to try something new can come up with it. Of course I'm wearing my favorite (and well, only) romper and color-blocked a navy blue maxi scarf (which is also from the UK) with a popping orange purse because life's too short for the usual.
The jewelry of course tops the outfit like icing on a cake with the small wooden-beaded bracelet and my variety of rings (you know how I love rings).
Hope this little love story of mine has helped you know what real love is when it smacks you in the face (or when you double tap it...aye, you know what I mean) and to never let anything get in your way when you find it...especially when it makes your outfit this cute.
~~Because life's too short to dress boring~~
