I wasn't ready...

"First day of school! First day of school!" I don't know why, I kept on hearing that in my head in Nemo's voice (it was one of my favorite movies okay). So last night I tweeted that I didn't know what I was blogging for today being Monday and first day of the new semester, when I actually did know (well, kind of). So I got ready for my 7:30 class (yes, that early in the morning) and I was like "hey, this is cute," and then changed...I have no idea why, but I did! I had this outfit saved for later because I'm wearing my first maxi skirt! I know right, it's about time I have one so I saw it (on clearance of course) and bought it, and am so glad I did. Now that outfit you shall see later.

It has pockets!

So anyway, many of you that already have a maxi skirt, and know they basically work with any top of an appropriate color of course; so I just grabbed two patterns I haven't put together in quite some time and touched it up with a light cream colored cardigan that works with the off-white color of the scarf and bam, first day of back outfit! What did you wear on your first day back? And it better not have been sweat pants :P
